[10/04/2000] Episode #1 "Coming Home"
Pacey and Joey return from their Summer sailboating trip along the east coast. Dawson, Jack, Jen, & Andie re-hash their Summer activites and vote Jack off the Island. Grams went first though! hehehe... Tempers begin to flair between Dawson, Joey, and Pacey, but nothing harsh is said. Joey is wanting for the friendship her and Dawson used to possess, but her heart belongs to the one and only Pacey Witter. Andie feels like she should bury her face in the sand after she experiences a day touring 2 foreign boys (feigning foreign accents) around Capeside. Everyone asks the question that Joey said no one would ask (Pacey warned her, but did she listen...NO...typical woman). Question was; Did they do the "DEED?" Well, we still don't know for sure!

[10/11/2000] Episode #2 "Falling Down"
Summer is officially over and the gang returns to school as the new senior class of Capeside High. Trouble lurks for Pacey as Mr. Leery (Guidance Counselor sub) informs him that since he failed three of his junior year classes he will have to re-take them and pass his current classes as well. That is if he wants to graduate with his friends. Jen no longer has to deal with the agony of her long distance relationship with Henry, because Henry dumps her by word of mouth, from no other than her bestfriend Jack. Dawson's soothing words brings her back to reality and brings out an apology to Jack for blaming him. Pacey treads on dangerous ground with his and Joey's relationship by not telling her the bad news. She finds out about Pacey from Dawson. Dawson informs Joey of why Pacey probably never told her, it because he doesn't want to be looked upon as a failure. Not to the one he loves. Joey has her own problem, finding a job to help pay for her college. She gets on at the Town's Yacht Club as a waitress, but under false pretenses. Dawson is slowly falling for Gretchen, Pacey's sister, his first crush.

[10/18/2000] Episode #3 "The Two Gentlemen of Capeside"
Dawson risks his life and Mr. Brooks' boat to save both Jen & Pacey from "The Perfect Storm." Andie shows Mrs. Valentine that she is great under pressure and is just the right material for Harvard, even if she doesn't think so. "Actions speak louder than Words." In this case, help save lives as well.

[10/25/2000] Episode #4 "Future Tense"
Joey Potter fears that her college plans will upset her relationship with her boyfriend Pacey and leads her to cut loose at Jen's birthday party. Dawson and Pacey baby-sit her as she indulges in too much alcohol.

[11/01/2000] Episode #5 "A Family Way"
Gale sees no relief in sight from her bout with the flu until a pregnancy test reveals her true condition. Dawson is less than trilled that the Leery family may be adding another member, until he learns that his parents are planning to terminate the pregnancy. Feeling hurt and confused, Dawson confides in Gretchen who seems particularly uncomfortable with this topic. Finally Gretchen reveals her reason for returning to Capeside--she too got pregnant while at school and had a miscarriage. Not wanting to face similar issues and fearing that she may no longer be able to fend off Pacey, Joey decides to visit a free clinic to become more sexually responsible. Unfortunately, Bessie jumps to the wrong conclusion when she stumbles upon Joey's birth control stash. Meanwhile, Andie convinces Jack to become a pee-wee soccer coach in order to augment his extra-curricular activities. However, the plan backfires when the advances of a player's older sister force Jack to reveal his sexual identity and bigotry resurfaces.

[11/08/2000] Episode #6 "Great Xpectations"
Despite having achieved her life's dream by gaining early acceptance to prestigious Harvard University, Andie doesn't feel elated. While many of her friends have not even begun the application process, Andie just can't seem to truly enjoy this hard-earned prize. Upon learning that an underground rave has been planned just in time for her to celebrate this monumental achievement, she hopes that a new experience might help her reignite feelings numbed by anti-depressants. She experiments with a dangerous drug, with serious consequences.
Meanwhile, Dawson learns the happy news that his parents are keeping their unborn child, and he decides to join in the celebration at Gretchen's insistence. Things get a bit awkward when Gretchen invites Joey and Pacey along.

[11/15/2000] Episode #7 "You Had Me at GoodBye"
Andie McPhee aka. "Meredith Monroe (She is leaving the show, but will be back for an appearance at Graduation)" leaves Capeside to spend time with her Aunt overseas and to get away from pre-college stress she is suffering from. Before she goes she has a few things she wants to get off her chest and it all has to do with...Jack/Jen/Joey/Dawson/Pacey. They all take a group picture at the end that looks magnificent!

[11/22/2000] Episode #8 "The Unusual Suspects"
It's the Senior prank of the century when Principal Peskin's (guest star comic actor Harry Shearer) boat and golden retriever end up in the school swimming pool with "Class of 2001" inscribed on the sail. Jack immediately becomes a suspect when all of Capeside High witnesses the dog make a beeline for him. Two other rather unusual suspects are also under investigation --Dawson and Pacey. As Mitch's son, Dawson has access to his father's master keys to the school. Pacey might also be responsible, having lost his "True Love," and having access to the storage facility at the yacht club. Fortunately, all three suspects have airtight alibis and another culprit surfaces.

[11/29/2000] Episode #9 "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang"
Jen reveals an important decision she's made with regards to college. Jack and Grams, in turn, make a decision on their own. When Dawson comes up empty with answers to the important question "Why I want to be a Filmmaker", he turns to Brooks for inspiration. In the end, he realizes that love is the underlying theme for wanting to be a filmmaker. When Pacey accompanies Joey to a formal party for prospective Worthington College students, the Dean is impressed... with Pacey!

[12/20/2000] Episode #10 "Self-Reliance"
When Bessie and Bodie take a weekend away, Joey's hoping to get some studying done...but fate seems to be against her. Between her responsibilities at the B&B and Pacey's affections, Joey's hard pressed to find a moment alone... and as if that wasn't enough, she's trying to cope with her feelings about having seen Dawson kiss Gretchen. Pacey's got his own issues with that "kiss"... and he's convinced Dawson and Joey need closure, once and for all. Meanwhile, Dawson's collaboration with Brooks begins, rejuvenating Dawson's filmmaking spirit, and Jen takes Jack to a "Gay-Straight Coalition" meeting in the hopes that he'll meet some gay friends... but Jen seems to fit in with the crowd more than Jack does.

[1/10/2001] Episode #11 "The Tao of Dawson"
Pacey's a bit unnerved when Dawson admits that he has feelings for Gretchen. So, when Pacey takes a road trip with his sister, he hastily encourages her to hook up with her fun-loving ex, whom they're en route to see. But he's conflicted when he discovers his sister's college boyfriend isn't the person Pacey always believed him to be. Meanwhile, Joey has an even worse weekend when she's stuck in a storage room with her worst enemy... Drue Valentine. Left alone in Capeside, Dawson watches love bloom between Grams and Brooks... but worries that Grams is destined to lose another loved one sooner than she thinks.

[1/17/2001] Episode #12 "The Te of Pacey"
When Joey helps plan a surprise party for Pacey's birthday, she ends up getting more surprises than she bargained for. Meanwhile, Pacey's family creates a nightmare situation for all involved. Dawson's disappointed that Gretchen keeps putting off their first official date, and is dismayed when she insists they keep their relationship under wraps. Forced to miss the party finishing up her community service, Jen's mood brightens when she winds up working with Tobey.

[1/31/2001] Episode #13 "Hopeless"
Mrs. Valentine agrees to allow Joey a couple days off work for the senior trip... on an unusual condition. She and Pacey are forced to spend the evening with Drue and Anna Evans, a wealthy teen from another school... and make sure that Drue is on his best behavior. This is, naturally, easier said than done, and Joey's more than a little concerned when Anna seems more interested in Pacey than in Drue... Meanwhile, Dawson's humiliated when an evening out with Gretchen and her friends only serves to accentuate the gap between their ages, and Tobey extends an invitation to Jack.

[2/7/2001] Episode #14 "Winter's Tale"
While the rest of the class is on the ski trip, Dawson stays behind to care for a near-death Mr. Brooks, but he's overwhelmed when he's asked to make an impossibly hard decision. Meanwhile, there's a lot more than skiing going on when the senior trip doesn't go exactly as planned. The evening takes an unexpectedly romantic turn for best friends Jack and Jen... while Pacey and Joey find their own ways to keep warm on the cold, snowy night.

Episode #15 "Four Stories"
The morning after, Joey and Pacey discover they've overslept and missed the bus back to Capeside. While they wait for the next one, the couple find themselves confronted with the tensions that accompany the latest development of their relationship. Meanwhile, as punishment for breaking into her hotel mini-bar during the class ski trip, Mr. Kasdan decides to send Jen to a psychologist where she can discuss her "inner teen issues."
Back in Capeside, Joey and Dawson's paths collide and they spend an evening catching up on the past weekend and its many happenings. Sensing a change in Joey's demeanor, he poses the unthinkable question, forcing Joey to consider whether honesty is the best policy.

Episode #16 "Mind Games"
The results of the Senior Polls have ramifications for Dawson, Joey, and Pacey, as the three try to ignore the tauntings of pollmaster Drue Valentine. While Pacey and Joey try to eke out some time alone together, Dawson finds his night alone with Gretchen more awkward than he'd expected. Meanwhile, Jack's suspicious when Jen drags him on some mysterious errands, and his suspicions are confirmed when he realizes just what she's up to.

[4/11/2001] Episode #17 "Admissions"
Joey receives some good college news. But while Joey glows, Dawson is forced to face a crushing rejection. Joey's elated mood, however, is tempered by a sobering realization...until Dawson proposes a surprising solution.
Meanwhile, Jen and Jack have nothing but options when it comes to college. While Jack's convinced that New York is the place to go, Jen isn't so sure she's ready to return to the Big Apple. A therapy session forces Jen to confront her past.

[4/18/2001] Episode #18 "Eastern Standard Time"
As Senior Ditch Day arrives, Joey is excited to find herself accompanying Jen on an excursion to New York under the auspices of attending a college meeting. But it's not long before Joey realizes that they're there for an entirely different reason.
Meanwhile, eager to infuse their relationship with a bit of spontaneity, Gretchen and Dawson take off on a road trip... But what starts out as unpredictable fun turns into one debacle after another.
Back in Capeside, Pacey and Drue find themselves the only seniors in school on Ditch Day. Having had enough, they set out for some real fun, Drue style, leaving Pacey in serious doubt as to what his future will hold for him.

[4/25/2001] Episode #19 "Late"
As Gale's delivery date approaches, the girls throw a baby shower for her...but it's an experience that throws Joey for a loop when she realizes it's possible that she could be pregnant, and Pacey is nowhere to be found. While Dawson awaits the arrival of his new sibling, Dawson and Gretchen wonder what their future holds when Gretchen considers an out-of-town job... Meanwhile, Jack faces an unexpected situation when he learns that Tobey falls victim to a vicious crime.

[5/2/2001] Episode #20 "Promicide"
As everyone gets ready for this year's senior prom, some bad news gives causes Gretchen to reflect on her life, and Joey worries about Pacey's odd behavior. Meanwhile, Jen and Jack meddle in each others' lives... resulting in some interesting prom dates. At the prom Joey and Pacey confront once unspoken issues, and the festivities cause conflict for Gretchen, as she questions her relationship with Dawson, while an unhappy Jen is rescued by an unlikely individual.

[5/9/2001] Episode #21 "Separation Anxiety"
As the school year draws to a close, changes abound for the class of 2001. While Joey and Dawson deal with their respective break-ups, Jen makes a startling decision about her future. In his own way, Jack helps Jen to rethink it. Meanwhile, Dawson has his own decision to make with regards to Gretchen when an unusual opportunity comes their way. And when Mr. Kubelik from Worthington asks Joey to bring Pacey with her to a party for incoming freshman, which fills the pair with hope that they might be able to have a future together after all.

[5/16/2001] Episode #22 "The Graduate"
As graduation approaches, Joey has a tough time preparing her speech, and Dawson helps her find some bittersweet inspiration. Pacey wonders if he's going to graduate at all, and he worries that his last final will be the toughest one. Meanwhile, Andie McPhee returns home for the cap and gown ceremony, and is surprised to meet Jack's new boyfriend, Tobey, and a devious Drue convinces Jen to help him pull a hilarious senior prank.

[5/23/2001] Episode #23 "Coda" (Season Finale)
Accepted early to USC, Dawson finds his last night in Capeside has arrived much sooner than everyone had originally anticipated. While Dawson looks forward to spending the evening with Joey, Jack and Jen, Mitch has other ideas. Meanwhile, Dawson's not the only goodbye Jen has in store for her, as she bids farewell to the house she's been sharing with Grams. Finally, Joey says goodbye to Dawson in her own way.
